This conference will provide a workshop and keynote speaker to address the prevalence of suicide, prevention, and interventions that can be taken before one commits suicide. Professionals will gain an understanding of effective interventions in working with suicidal ideations, grief and recovery, and other types of behaviors as well as analyze current research, and develop practical tools to address these behaviors with clients.

Sharing a cup of coffee with someone who understands your burdens can be a balm of consolation.
And the coffee pot is never empty and understanding is in full supply at Tim's House, a place created to support, educate and provide referral resources to individuals as they manage loss and grief when a loved one has committed suicide.

Building Tim's House
Carole Brazis is the founder of the non-profit organization, Tim's House Inc., based in a Chardon home. She was inspired to create Tim's House after the suicide of her only child, Tim Weed, in September 2006.

Tim's House Inc. is publishing a cookbook, as a fundraiser!

We are asking friends and family to share up to 5 recipes with us. We will pick at least 1 of your recipes (due to duplicates or space) to be published in the cookbook. Of course, your name will be printed under your recipe. Deadline for submitting recipes is November 1st. Please include your name and phone number with each recipe in case we have any questions.
